Rosan Art Valuations for Cromwell Art, led by Rachel Adler Rosan, provides expert, USPAP compliant Fair Market Value, Marketable Cash Value and Retail Replacement Value appraisal reports for purposes of insurance, donation, non-cash charitable contribution, collateral loan, financial and estate planning and financial planning.  We also provide pre-and post-conservation percentage loss in value appraisals for works of art which will or already have undergone restoration.

Rachel Adler Rosan has over 25 years of experience in the Post-War and 20th Century and Contemporary art market. She values between $500M and $1B in art annually for estate tax, charitable donation, insurance, collateral loans and artist’s estates.

Prior to founding Rosan Art Valuations, Rachel was Senior Director of Fine Art at Gurr Johns, Inc., a leading private appraisal and advisory company. Beginning in 1997, Rachel was Vice President of Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s, where she and Wendy first met. After consulting for Gurr Johns and raising her 3 children, Rachel joined Phillips auction house in 2015 where she was Senior Specialist and Head of Appraisals for 20th Century & Contemporary Art for seven years.

Rachel and Wendy are certified members of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA) and their appraisals are compliant with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
